Welcome to the Mbasa Qilingele Foundation — where ability meets opportunity. Founded by trailblazing athlete Mbasa Qilingele, our mission is to empower disabled youth through sports, mentorship, leadership, and community.
We support disabled youth in sport by providing access to training, equipment, and opportunities.
We equip young people with disabilities with mentorship and skills to lead, grow, and thrive independently.
We raise awareness and advocate for the rights and recognition of disabled youth in all spaces.

I’ve supported Mbasa since her primary school days at Cape Recife. Watching her grow into a powerful young athlete has been one of my greatest joys — she’s like a daughter to me.

We’ve proudly supported Mbasa for over six years through our annual athlete development program. Her dedication and discipline truly reflect the spirit of ECAS.
Change doesn’t happen by chance — it happens when people come together with purpose.
When you join the movement, you become part of a growing community that believes in dignity over dependency, empowerment over pity, and action over awareness alone.
